Stephen Martin (Youth & Children’s Minister) was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1982. From 2001-2004 he studied at Union Theological College and Queens University Belfast towards a degree in Theology, and also a Certificate in Youth Work at Belfast Bible College. Stephen moved to Faringdon in August 2004 to begin working full time for Faringdon Baptist Church. He married Louise in March 2005. |

Ian McManus (Assistant Church Leader) was born in Eunice, Louisiana, USA in 1982. He moved to Wales in 1993 when his parents decided to become missionaries. From 2001-2004 he studied at London School of Theology (formerly the London Bible College) for a degree in Theology, Music and Worship. Ian began working for Faringdon Baptist Church, part-time, in September 2007. He spends the other half of the week working in Oxford for a research company. The leadership team is made up of people who are appointed from the congregation and consist of both Elders and Officers. Officers hold the responsibility for the oversight and ongoing of church life while Elders have the responsibility to think about the future direction of the church.
