At FBC, to make the most of church life, we encourage everyone to attend a small group. We have a number of small groups that meet at varying different times. Please speak to John Lockely or contact us if you would like further information about Small Groups@FBC.
Every first Saturday in the month the men from FBC and other churches in the Faringdon area gather in the hall at Bromsgrove chapel for a sumptuous cooked breakfast and a talk. The speakers we have vary from guest speakers to organisations outside FBC or are members of the group itself. Previous topics have ranged from pottery and evangelism to holidays of a lifetime to confessions of an ex-LST student! Please speak to Martin Spackman or contact us if you would like further information.
Every third Friday evening of the month, the women of the church gather at the Chapel in Bromsgrove for praise and ministry focussed around a theme. These times are usually open-ended times of prayer and praise with a particular emphasis on the work of the Holy Spirit. They usually end with a nice cuppa and lovely cakes! Please speak to Sharon Gerry or contact us if you would like further information about women's worship.
Here at FBC, we have a number of links to missions work overseas. Below are just a few examples of those with whom we have regular contact.
For the past seven years or so, our church has always taken a group of people to Dezna, Romania to run various activities in a church there.
John Ouko lives in Kenya in a city called Kisumu with his wife & numerous children (He has 10!). He runs an organisation called The Christ Mission Fellowship. Their mission is to go to high schools in Kenya to preach the gospel to students. The mission relies entirely on gifts from Christians from around the world to fund the work. They are supported by FBC.
