If you don't yet follow Jesus, why not give it a go? Here's a prayer to help you start. Focus on God, then say:
Totally strong God, our Father in heaven, I have done things wrong by you, and by my family, friends and people around me,
Through stuff I have thought about, stuff I’ve said and stuff I’ve done, sometimes because I couldn’t care, or wasn’t strong enough, and sometimes just because I wanted to.
I really am sorry and wish I hadn’t done any of those things wrong.
Because of your Son, Jesus Christ, who died for me, please forgive me everything I’ve got wrong in the past,
And let me serve you, in a new way with a new life, because I want people to think great things about you. Amen!
